Playing with the Window Box Thinlit Dies

1/18/2017

I have been playing with the Window Box Thinlit Dies over the last few days.
And whilst playing I decided to try doubling the original height of the box...and I took photos and wrote a tutorial!
Then later today I used 12" cardstock and made the box as large as I could get it.
I'm so excited to share them with you - because I really did have so much fun making them  :)

The bottom right box is the original size made with the thinlit...so you can compare sizes.

The maximum size cardstock I usually have is 12” – so I would not get any taller a box than 8 1/4“. If you can source cardstock larger than 12” then you can make taller boxes – OR, you could make two tall boxes and join them together in the middle with a belly band. This is only a brief intro into how to make the box taller – the possibilities are waiting – and I would love to see what you create so please do share your projects with me :)

Thank you so much for sharing all of your hard work, with this beautiful window box. Love how you have used the die set to customize the size of the boxes. The picture tutorial is great. Thanks for the PDF Download. I have been searching for this type of tutorial for a while. The ones I found were nice, but they didn't use the die set. I'm all thumbs, when it comes to turning dies, stamps or other products around for 3-D projects.. It's hard for me to picture it in my head. God Bless.
