Double Slider Gift Card Holder

1/18/2016

This past weekend The KILTS (my downline team) had our January meeting.
We swapped card ideas and a few of us demo'd some techniques.
I decided to demo a double slider - usually a double slider, that ends up being a 'normal' size card, requires 12" wide cardstock and....as usual I was planning my demo on Saturday - and no 12"x12" card stock - well not enough to supply 11 folk attending the meeting.
So - I re-visited the design and made it fit on a regular 8 1/2" x 11" piece of card stock. The overall finished project is 5" x 3 1/2" and so will still fit in a regular envelope :)
This time I added a pocket for a gift card on one of the sliding pieces.
Do you want to come to our KILTS meetings? NOW is a great time to join our group...

Wow, this is so fun & what a great idea to include a pocket for a gift card. I haven't made a double slider in a long while but I def have to case your version. Thanks so much for sharing it.
Inky wishes, Di :-)

I'm always looking for new folds and styles other than the basic card.
Thanks!
