Yesterday I worked on a commission card for a friend. There are lots of UK peeps living in the Houston area and many of us in Katy, and it's hard to find a 'Mum' card rather than 'Mom', so I am occasionally asked to make a card for a special 'Mum' Birthday.
For this one I decided on something bright and cheery, but it had to fold flat to be mailed to the UK though - perfect option is a pop-up box card....like the one I did HERE. But - I wanted it to be BIGGER!

Assembling this card was the almost the same as the other flower box card but the actual box base itself is slightly different...because it is so large you have to make the box out of two pieces. I add an additional back to the card to make it more stable, but you don HAVE to do that. Once you have assembled the box - you cut down the vertical score lines to the horizontal score line on the front and sides - DO NOT FOLD THE 6"x 5 1/2" backs.
