I am so happy to be back after another visit to Scotland to get ready to Register as a Nurse in Texas! Now I just face a couple of exams and the looooong process will be done! But for now I am enjoying some time in my craft room - which is still all a bit new and exciting after it's post Hurricane Harvey refurb!
Anyway - enough of my waffling :) and on to todays project.
When I'm faced with the challenge of creating a Monochromatic card I have a wee panic. So, I thought I would go down the 'green' and 'March' route and create a St. Patrick's Day project. But, as I was tidying up card kits from my card buffet I wondered if I could recreate a few of those cards in greens.
Here are the results....
This card was initially a 'Happy Easter' card on this week's card buffet...I didn't think I could use green for the bunny or the chick in the 'Welcome Easter' stamp set, so I used the lamb and changed the card a little into a baby card.
I added a little Wink of Stella to the sheep to give it a little something - but you can't quite see it in the photo.
The next card began on the buffet with a Calypso Coral colour palette (and CASE'd from Windy Ellard), but I changed it to Pear Pizzazz. I used the Noble Peacock Foil Paper and the Layered Leaves Embossing Folder for the background layer - it turned out really pretty - it was almost sad to cover it up (but it's an idea I'll keep in my head for another time).
