Welcome to the February Kre8tors Blog Hop!

If you have hopped on over from Lisa's Blog - welcome!

This month we are showcasing items from the Stampin' Up! Sale-a-bration Catalog.

During this period (until the end of March) when you purchase US$50 of product you can choose an item from the Sale-a-bration catalog for FREE.

There are also items you can choose if you spend US$100.

You can click on the picture below (left) to download the catalog if you haven't already done so.

BUT - did you see the small line of text on page 2 that says "Watch for another set of special Sale-A-Bration items coming February 16!"?

There's MORE coming!

You can click on the picture on the right to download the mini catalog showing the new items - and they are GREAT! So - starting February 16th you can choose from these for free with either a US$50 or US$100 product purchase.

I have been so busy making the Personalized Stamparatus Bags that have been ordered that I had not had a chance to play with my recent order. (Click here to order your bag)

As a Demonstrator I had the opportunity to purchase the items early, and I am so glad I did. The SPRINGTIME FOILS SPECIALTY DESIGNER SERIES PAPER is absolutely GORGEOUS!

I really liked the card on the front of the mini just under the Title, and so I decided to CASE it.

I made mine slightly different than the one featured. Whilst it uses the 'Springtime Foils' Paper, it also uses the 'Amazing You' Stamp set, and although mine does too, I decided to add in the 'amazing' from the 'Celebrate You' Thinlits - one of those items Free when you spend $100.

I initially liked the card without colouring it and thought I would leave it alone as it really showcases the Designer Paper with that copper foil on it...but, it sat there shouting at me to colour it, so I opened my Blends and had a go at the flower.

Now I can't decide on which I prefer.

The card is on the whole a bit too fussy for me - so I may try one in the next few days with just one flower.

Which do you prefer? Coloured or not?

I then tried a simpler card using one of the other designs of the paper. This time I made a Silver Anniversary card. This paper really does sparkle and so is well suited for Silver, Gold or Copper cards - and it's such I shame I couldn't get it to show up in this photo. The card is so much prettier in real life!
