I know - we aren't anywhere close to fall - especially here in Southern Texas (Do we EVER have Fall here?)
But - I love Fall colours and when the craft group I belong to decided to exchange Card Candy in a swap I knew I wanted to do Fall. I think the elements can be used for cards or Scrapbooks? It was fun coming up with ideas for small elements. I used the new Vintage leaves Bundle and the Wonderous Wreath Bundle and the Baby Wipe technique. You drop drops of reinker onto a baby wipe randomly then use that as your 'ink pad'. That's how you get the mottled colour look on the wreath and leaf. I LOVE the new Project Life Paper Clips Thinlits - now we can make ANY COLOUR of clips...you know me - colour coordination is a must ;P K ONLY 2 DAYS LEFT FOR THE BEST DEAL EVER!

I love the new baggie punch board!
This was a project for The KILTS meeting this weekend. Rather than use the hole punch on the board we used 18" ribbon and the bow punch. Start with 11x6 1/2 card stock and follow the board instructions to make a M (medium) box. Never forget a birthday again! The Perpetual Birthday Calendar will not only help you keep track of birthdays, it will look oh-so-beautiful doing it!

As soon as I saw the 'Best Thoughts' Hostess set I had a project in mind...it's perfect for layering...and colouring ;)
I stamped the flower several times and cut out layers, coloured them with Marina Mist and Old Olive inks (gently with an Aqua Painter) then assembled them on top of one another again using dimensionals. I then stamped the butterfly a couple of times on velum and coloured with markers. Don't you love the dimension that cut layers of paper can give? Here is what I used: |
