The 2010/11 Catalog is leaving!

So, it's that sad time of year when Stampin' Up! is clearing the way for all our new goodies coming in the new catalog.  We are saying 'Goodbye' to a LOT of stamp sets, accessories and Decor Elements.

Houston Paper Divas

6" x 6" Book Swap

Houston Paper Divas swap this month was a 6"x6" book.

We could do anything we want - as long as we made it for the person whose

name we picked out of the hat.

The name I picked was Patty!

Now - I am a subtle colour person - but Patty likes bold stuff.  And, I struggled.

I eventually choose some designer paper form a pack I purchased at a local store

- not SU this time.

With it came butterflies and flower embellishments.

I added a few Stampin' Up! retired and non retired bits 'n' pieces,

and here is what I ended up with

This is the front.

With a pull out tab for jounaling or a picture.

Page 2

With space for a picture and a tab, that opens with a concertina for pictures and jounaling.

This has a flap that opens with lots of room for photos and jounaling.

With a 'waterfall' section so Patty can fit in photos.

This has a lift up flap, that when opened, the butterflies 'fly'

Again, with a tab that can be lifted out for a photo one side and jounaling on the other.

Me getting my book from Jean.  I will show you the beautiful book Jean made for me at a later date.  She made it with lots of pages for travel pictures and journalling - so I am going to use it for our next vacation!
