I Dig You Pop 'n Cuts Card
When I saw the new Label Pop 'n Cuts in the 2013-14 catalog, it reminded me of a flower bed!
I have absolutely NO IDEA why - maybe my mind is just caught up on sorting the yard out....I really want some flower beds and some colour out there!
Anyway, first came the flower bed using the Label Pop 'n Cuts and the matching Deco Label Framelits, but it looked a bit lonely. Then the framelit began to look like a tubby body with stumpy legs - perfect for a Gnome.
(I can't say gnome as in nome....have to say G-nomie - Dad used to call me that when I was in the G-nomie pack in Brownies....SO long ago!)

I layered the framelits using the new magnetic platform - LOVE IT! Then scored and sponged them to look like bricks.

Punches / Framelits used:
Hair, Beard and Arms, Leaves: Bird Builder Punch
Face: 1 3/4" Circle (Whisper White sponged with Blushing Bride)
Eyebrows and nose: 1/2" Circle
Moustache: Elegant Butterfly Punch
Body/legs: Deco Label Framelit
Belt: Extra Large Oval Punch
Buckle: Little Labels Punch Pack, 1/4" Square (retired)
Shoes: Curly Label Punch, 1/2" Circle
Flower pot: Cupcake Builder Punch
Flowers: Itty Bitty Shapes Pack
Shovel: Small Oval Punch, Word Window Punch
To make the 'dirt' I used the Distress Tool to create lots of fluff and glued it on to the card.
So, then the inside was done.....what to put on the front? Karen Burniston who designs the Pop 'n Cuts dies once told me to keep things simple on the front of a Pop 'n Cuts card....so I went with a simple tag from the Tag It stamp set - which is the 2013-14 Ronald McDonald Stamp Set - purchase this set and Stampin' Up! contribute $3 to the charity.
