This month our theme is 'Wedding Dreams'.

I haven't really done many Wedding themed cards lately - and I am all 'hearted' out from St Valentine's so I wasn't going to participate in this month's hop - but I had so many questions about THIS EASEL CARD (click here) that I decided to make another - and this time make it Wedding themed....

For this card I went with the oldie but goodie - Owl Punch. There are lots of Bride and Groom Owl Punch images on Pinterest, but I changed mine up a little.

When I cut the leaves using the Botanical Builders Thinlits from the glimmer paper, I had several of the little leaves left over - so I used one for the grooms tie. I also used an image from the Grateful Bunch Stamp set for the Bride's Tiara - heat embossed with silver powder. Can you see it - It is from the top right image in the set picture - turned the other way.

The Bridal 'gown' is cut from a paper doily.I embossed a piece of Tip Top Taupe with the Woodgrain Embossing folder and freehand (or fussy) cut the branch. Then I assembled everything onto the back of the 'frame' before attaching it to the card base.

This is such a cute card! Would you mind if I use your easel concept on a Christmas card? I will link back to you IF I get one made.
