Global Design Project #24 - CASE the Designer

2/23/2016

Today I decided to head to The Global Design Project for some inspiration.
This is the FIRST TIME I have tried to participate in the challenge - usualy I oogle at the wonderful samples, and sometimes I CASE for my classes.
But today - I decided to at least 'have a go' :)
The challenge this week is to 'CASE the Designer'. The Designer this week is Michelle Last.
This is her card:

Of course I LOVE shaker cards - so I took that part of her card - as well as the butterfly and 'Congrats' sentiment...this is what I came up with.
The new Sale-a-bration Glitter Washi tape in just little peices, and some vellum and little strips of Blushing Bride Glimmer Paper,  breaks up the pink on pink.
Sorry about the photo quality :( It's been raining and dull in Katy today, and I was stuck with artificial light which kind've gives everything a yellow tinge. Pink Pirouette is hard enough to photograph well....

Why not have a go at a shaped shaker card? Here is how....

Such a pretty card. I love the butterfly-shaped shaker and the way you added the sentiment in such an interesting way. Thanks for joining us at Global Design Project.

Kirsteen - this card is SO LOVELY! So many gorgeous layers beneath this butterfly, and each one adds something really special to the card. Love it! Thanks you so much for playing along with this week’s CASE the Designer Challenge at Global Design Project – I’m glad you did.
