I picked the metal/chalkboard frame up at Michael's and although it was not what I had gone in looking for I really liked how it turned out....I may have to make one for myself!
Wishing you a very HAPPY (Belated) BIRTHDAY Shelley! ;)
For Shelley's birthday pressie I dabbled with some vinyl (the second time I have dabbled!!) and my Silhouette to make a little wall art for her new workroom. Whereas I like my papercrafts Shelley likes her power tools - so I came up with the wording and created this.....tongue in cheek - do not judge ;P It's not perfect - so don't look too close, but it was made with much lurve for a wonderful friend!

Welcome to the Creatin' With Kirsteen stop on the November Stampin Friends Blog Hop!
The theme this month is 'Happy Holidays'. Weren't Barbara's projects awesome? You can navigate back to her blog, or forward to the next one using the links at the bottom of the page (you are at #8 Kirsteen Gill) Just click on the previous or next name to hop forward or back. It's been a crazy week getting ready for and attending OnStage in Salt Lake City last week...and my mojo comes in spits and spurts still. So, since my OnStage swap card and my team member gift fitted into the theme this month of Happy Holidays, I thought I would take the opportunity to share those. You'll have to forgive my photos - I took the photo of the frame whilst in Salt Lake City in the Hotel and the card - well our apartment hasn't got great light on the sunniest of days and today was a bit over cast. My swap card was a simple stocking / Noel card...and which Scotswoman can resist a tartan stocking? :D This card uses the Christmas Stockings thinlits and the Christmas around the World Designer Paper.
My 3d project is a small 5"x7" Holiday Frame using the Year of Cheer Designer Paper, Green Sprigs and the mini ornaments.
Thanks for stopping by.
Remember to comment on all the hop posts to be entered into the giveaway. It's big news when something breaks the mold and changes everything. The Stamparatus will change the way you stamp, and before long, you'll wonder how you crafted without it! Why do YOU need one? You'll fall in love with stamping all over again when you learn everything you can do with it!
With the launch of this tool, we're trying something different: testing a new reservation system. It acts like a true preorder: you reserve your spot and we guarantee shipment as soon as the product arrives in our warehouse. The global launch will feature three reservation windows. For each window, please note the following:
YOU WILL NEED TO CREATE AN ONLINE ACCOUNT TO PLACE YOUR ORDER - YOU CAN DO THAT NOW
- make sure you are shopping with Kirsteen Gill - my name should be in the top right corner. All customers ordering a Stamparatus between November 16th - 30th through my Stampin' Up! website will be entered into random drawing and one lucky customer will receive theirs free from me! Drawing will be done on December 6th noon. OnStage Live 2017 has ended.😩
It's been wonderful to spend time with friends from near and far and I'm sad to not be seeing some of them for another year 😞 But, now that we are about to head home from Salt Lake City I can share the frame I gifted my Room-mate 😀 This light-up frame piece uses the Hometown Greetings Edgelits and Card Front Builder thinlits, a set of LED mini string lights and a star from the Year of Cheer embellishments. I hadn't crafted in a while and SO enjoyed making this for Leslie. 💕 Sorry the photos are a bit weirdly lit...I had to take them in the hotel lobby 😜 #OnStage2017 |
