I thought today I would share with you the Convention Roomie gifts I made for Anita, a great friend who was willing to share a room with me whilst we were at Stampin' Up! convention in Salt Lake City this past August!

The last time we went to convention together, it was our first convention. Now, I had read up on all the info - except the part about Roomie gifts. And, when I had several little gifts on my pillow, but had none to give, I felt awful....so this time, to make up for that, I wanted to make something special for her.

Firstly, when I saw the button frame on page 186 of The Idea Book and Catalog, I knew that I wanted to make one for Anitas gift. But, the one in the catalog doesn't have ALL the buttons on it, and I wanted Anitas to have a sample of all the buttons. The frame is a little more plain....but I think it worked ok.

Here is a closer look....I tied linen thread through all of the buttons and stuck them with glue dots onto a 12x12 Whisper White sheet. I printed the names of the color families, the title and Anitas name, on My Digital Studio.

For her next gift I made a little simply adorned charm. I printed out her name in My Digital Studio, then used the Tiny Tags set on the front and back to add a little branch of leaves and finished off with some Basic Pearl Jewels.......
