The SUDSOL Summer Mini Blog Tour!

Haven't we had some great projects so far!!

SUDSOL is a great way for Stampin' Up! Demonstrators to share online.

When you have a question....post to the group - and the answer is sitting in

your inbox within minutes!

(Particularly helpful at midnight when you are planning a class the next day!)

The Gallery has LOADS of samples, and there are Patterns, Templates and

Business tools to help you plan workshops and classes and run your business.

My post today uses the Stamp Set 'Recess'....again!

I  know - I LOVE it!

To order click here

It's perfect for teachers, kids, moms, birthdays, invitations....everyone and everything!

As soon as I saw this set - it screamed out 'moving cards!'

Swings, hula hoops, jump rope.....

So, here is my offering today - a little backpack and set of cards, all of which 'do something'!

sudsol_1

There are several backpack templates around - but I have combined a concertina box

and back pack together.

My backpack instructions can be found HERE,

and my instructions will be heading in to the SUDSOL 3D Project Pattern Gallery

to join over 90 other 3D templates!

Here are close ups of my cards....

This one is a 'Waterfall' card - again the basic template and instructions are in the SUDSOL Gallery,

although I did change up the dimensions for mine a little....

sudsol5

....and when you pull the tab, the wee boy jumps rope!

sudsol6

sudsol7

sudsol8

This is done by stamping the rope up on 2 images, and stamping the rope down

on the alternate images.

Here is my second card.....using the hopscotch image......

sudsol9

With this one I made a 'shaker' card....but instead of filling it with glitter or 'snow',

I put in 8 tiny ball bearings, poked holes beside the numbers

with a paper piercer, and created

a 'game' on the card...you have to try to get the balls at each number!

sudsol10

My next card uses the image that has the boy on the swing.

I cut out the swing and the boy, and attached him to some Bakers Twine (#124262)

layering the twine between the designer paper and the card stock,

in which I had punched a hole, so he can 'swing' back and forth!

sudsol11

My last card uses the image with the girl and her hula hoop.

She is suspended in a punched hole by an elastic band that I cut in half......

I stamped 2 images of her - one with the hoop the way it appears on the stamp,

and then again with the hoop facing the other direction.

I then stuck those back to back on either side of the elastic, so,

when you twist and twist and twist...then let go - the hoop appears to be moving.....

...kind've like when we were little and we used to draw stick men

in the corner of books and flick through them - the stick man would move!
