Fishy Sneak Peek!

I've been playing around with my new Demonstrator Pre-order.

As a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator, you get to pre-order product a whole month

before the rest of the public sees it!

This set and wheel are from the new Summer Mini which launches on May 1st in the US.

This mini is so full of fun and vivid colours!

I LOVE it!

Here is the card I made with 'Summer Splash' Set

and the

'Fish Frenzy' Wheel

fish_card_kgill

I put a little hair gel in a ziplock bag - but

although it was blue in the bottle

it was clear in the bag!

So, I added a couple of drops of Bashful Blue Reinker to colour the gel.

Then, I dropped a few drops of different Brights re-inkers on to a piece

of felt, and made my own multi coloured ink pad

which I used to ink up my wheel.

I then punched a couple of stems from the Bird Punch

and stamped a multi coloured fish from the stamp set

and layered them on the Marina Mist Mat

which is adhered to a Whisper White base.

I punched a circle out of a Whisper White mat.

Then i adhered the fish and stems in place,

the bag of gel over that,

and then the Whisper White mat on top.

I then stamped the turtle in Marina Mist, and coloured him in a little.

Here is a close up......

It's a fun, bright card........hope you like it!

So cute! I can't wait to use my fish frenzy wheel.  I did wonder how you adhered your bag to the card stock?  Thanks for sharing!

What a wonderful card!  So summery!  I've never made a "gel" card, but plan on doing this at my next workshop.  Thanks for the inspiration!
