Quick Sunflower Card

Todays post is a quickie.....I am determined to achieve something during this Spring Break and our daughter would like her room painted.....she also would like to move rooms, and with all her STUFF, that's gonna take a while!

So, am posting this card quickly as I run out to purchase paint etc....at least we have decided on a colour!

Ok, todays card is made using the Flower, Daisies #2 Die (#114520)

Sometimes it's easy to forget the great products Stampin' Up! has in the main Idea Book and Catalog, because we have a fabulous mini catalog at the moment, and, we often don't head to the back of that book either!

All the Big Shot dies are back there - go take a look!

You can find the link over the right of the page.

Here is my Sunflower Card

sunflower1_kirsteengill

I used 4 die cuts and layered them on to one another then bent them a little to give dimension.

Then I 'flocked' some Early Espresso Card, the way I showed you yesterday, HERE, and adhered it to a Circle of Early Espresso I had punched out.

The ribbon is Early Espresso Satin, and the Stamp set is
So Happy For You

Which is
FREE
when you order $50 worth of product during Sale-a-bration.

WOW! This is a really simple but elegant card.  And the middle of the sunflower is just so clever. definitely a CASE.

Sunflowers are always so cheery! I really like this die, and I'm keen to try your faux flock -- thanks for the inspiration!
