Blossom. Blossom, Everywhere!

Ahhh-choo!!

It's that time again!

Although I will end up with itchy eyes and the sneezes, I do love the Spring!

Light evenings, fresh air!

Yesterday my black car was yellow with pollen,

and covered in little white and pink blossom!

And I remembered a card I made last year with Lovely As A Tree.... HERE.

I felt like making another, so here is what I came up with this morning.

What you need:

Lovely As A Tree #115026

Cutter Kit #106958

Crystal Effects #101055

Pear Pizzaz Card #119795

Rose Red Card #102544

Very Vanilla Card #101650

Pink Pirouette Card #111351

Rose Red Seam Binding #121884

Scallop Edge Border Punch #119882

Scallop Square Punch #119884

Scallop Square die #120903

The 'flocking' is made from using the distressing tool on some scrap card stock.

I ran the distressing blade down the card stock then adhered it to the tree with Crystal Effects.

I had forgotten all about doing this. One of my customers talked about using Flower Soft and she mentioned that I probably wouldn't use that since it wasn't an SU brand. Now that I saw your blog I remembered that I can make my own Flower Soft fluffy stuff.
Thanks,
Kristi

Fabulous card and technique!  I've done this with shredded ribbon before... the card stock is much easier!  Thanks for sharing!

Great card.  Love the flocking.  Wish my car was covered with blossoms - mine is covered with frost.

Oh WOW! What a lovely card and the technique will go in my file.  I love the idea of flocking my own cards.  Will try it today.  Hope mine is as pretty as yours.  Your pictures show everything we need to know.  Thank you for sharing. Kerry
