Creating Your Own Embossing Plates

Today I'd like to show you a few cards that
I have made using Home Made Embossing Plates.

The first is a Snowflake Embossed Background....
using the Snowflake #2 Die

For a Video Tutorial showing how to make your own
embossing plate

Here I've used the DE-bossed side.
These are Cherry Cobbler, Marina Mist and Basic Black

Then I used the Lattice Die to create an embossing plate.

I cut out several of the flowers from DSP
and then decoupaged them on top
of one another.....to give a bit of dimension.
The embossed lattice gives the card a
bit of texture.

Then, using the Owl Punch, I created an Owl Embossing Plate.
It is a bit difficult to see it here....

This is the ifrst time I have actually used the owl punch -
as an owl!
I used the Two step Bird punch wings for his wings too!

Hi again...I was gonna watch your how-to video on making your own embossing plate but the link didn't work for me.  Is it just me and Firefox not working right?  Thanks!
