Welcome to

Creatin' With Kirsteen

Today my project is a simple Christmas Card and Gift Box set.

The great thing with this little 'Candy Wrapper' Die is that you don't just need to use it for candy.....now that Halloween has passed, using the Tags 'til Christmas Stamp Set, you can use it as a little Christmas gift box, or table setting box, and create any tag you want!

marina

For this card and box I used Marina Mist - I LURVE this colour at the moment!

Once I cut the Candy Wrapper Die, I ran it through the Big Shot in the Northern Flurry Embossing Folder......

I have found an easy way to put the Candy Wrapper together...but, it is easier to SEE it done than to describe it.....so, I made a video tutorial.

Click below to see the video.

So, here is Cherry Cobbler

I love all your cards. My favorite is the gray. I would have never thought to use this color but it looks great. Thanks for sharing. Mary

I wanted to say that I highly recommend this candy wrapper video--the directions are quick and to the point, and really are the easiest and fastest way to get a high quality assembled candy wrapper from this die. Every other video I've seen does a lot of redundant folding, which unnecessarily breaks down the card stock at the folds. This video shows the fastest and best method I've seen.  Of course, it happens to be the same method I stumbled onto myself on my own, so maybe I'm biased

Thank you so very much for posting your video tutorial for the candy wrapper die.  I recently purchased it and was excited to received until I tried to put the box together.  I can't wait to get home to try it.
