Moving and Spinner Cards

As a Demonstrator I am a member of The TOPICS (Touching Others with Paper, Ink, Creativity and Stamps).  We meet once a month and share ideas, have a laugh and generally have great fun! Click HERE if you want to join us!

For a recent meeting of the TOPICS, I was asked to demonstrate the spinner card technique.

I showed folk how to make my 'GOAL!" card....then showed everyone a few samples of moving, or 'Spinner' cards.

The first two are Halloween Cards.

This card is very simple and so easy to make!

It uses:

Spider Web embossing Folder (#120889)

Dark and Dreary Stamp Set (#120837)

Basic Black Card Stock (#121045)

Silver Embossing Powder (#109131)

And the Word Window Punch to create the gap for the spider to spin along (#119857)

This card is a little more complex.  But, I love how the

Scallop Edge Punch (#119882)

can be used to create the roof tile!

And the cute little witch 'flies' through the air!

The next card is a Christmas card.

And, Instead of creating a 'spinner' card, I just punched a circle for my penny to sit in - to create a swinging card.

So, the bells appear to be ringing as they can swing back and forward!

I love your spinner cards. I tried to make on but it didn't turn out very good. I am going to try to make one again because you have imspired me. I hope I can make them work. Do you have instructions for your cards?

Kirsteen what a fabulous idea!  I'm trying to figure out what size punches you used to make it swing?  What a great card!  I would love to make one too...but I'm feeling a bit dense tonight!  LOL!!  Thanks for sharing....love it!!
