Tiny Tags Wedding Card & Box

Welcome to the
In Love With Stamping
Mini Blog Hop!

If you haven't arrived here from
don't worry - we are going in a loop. so you can just carry on and follow the links from here, until you get back to here!
................
So, to my Project!
................
tiny_tags
................
I decided to make a Wedding Card and a box.  The Box could be used to put a Gift Card in, or, if you are planning a wedding - it could be a favour bag!
I REALLY like the Tiny Tags set in the new Mini catalog - and the fact that it matches perfectly with the Medium Jewelry Tag Punch makes using it REALLY easy! Then, I am really in a Brocade Blue mood just now.......so couldn't make something without using that beautiful ribbon!
................
tinytagscard
................
The card base in Whisper White, with a mat of Old Olive and then Brocade Blue. Topping that is a mat of SU! Bridal Specialty Paper - it has a foil effect on it - just beautiful!

The ribbon is of course the 5/8" Brocade Blue Grosgrain.

I stamped one of the images from the Tiny Tags set in Old Olive Ink onto Old Olive cardstock and onto Whisper White, and did the same with Brocade Blue.  Then I punched over those images with the new Small Heart punch, and also a couple with the Medium Jewelry Tag punch. I punched through the Little tags with the 1/8" circle punch and threaded Silver elastic cord through.
The rosebud is made with the NEW Extra-Large 2-Step Bird punch which is also in the mini....I just used the wing part though to make the bud, and the branch to make the stem and leaves.
................

................
You can maybe see it better in this photo.....I scrunched up Whisper White and punched out 3 wings, then peeled the layers from the cardstock to give the bud a bit of dimension.
................

................
I also popped up the punched hearts with dimensionals.
................

................
For the little box, I used the Sizzix Bag with Scallop lid.  I then cut a mat of the Bridal Paper and also used the 1 3/4" circle punch to make a mat for the lid.  I then scrunched up some more Whisper White and punched out more wings from the Extra-Large 2-Srep Bird punch and glued them around the clutch part of a Hat Pin from the Pretties Kit, creating a rose - kind've like the roses I made with the oval punch........
................

................
The leaves are....the wing from the Bid Punch in Old Olive and threaded onto the hat pin.  I just added some beads too.

Well - That's my project for the Mini Catalog Blog Hop.

I hope you like it!
