Playing with 'Lovely as a Tree'

I've been playing with the 'Lovely as a Tree' set today - it's a great set - loved by many...but...it's trees!

I am determined to use it though for a workshop I have next week - the Hostess really wants to buy it so I said I'd show her different ways to use it.

The photos aren't great - they have been taken on my iphone - our camera has 'gone missing' in the depths of our daughters' bedroom - she downloaded all our holiday photos and put the camera somewhere 'safe'!!

The top set are typical autumn colours, but the bottom one, although you can't see it in the photo, is a blossom tree...

PS - all these were inspired by posts on Splitcoast, although I did change them slightly, but I can't face trawelling through the thousands of posts under this set to find out who posted originally.....if you see yours here - Thanks for the idea!

Hi, Kirsteen! These are lovely cards! One of these cards reminds me of a "stamp camp" card you presented at your home in Katy, TX.   After seeing your trees, I  looked up the poem "Trees", by Sergeant Joyce Kilmer [Born 12/6/1886 - Died 7/30/1918]. I think he would have liked  the beauty you captured in trees. I  like this set too. I truly enjoy seeing the beauty you create on cardstock! Blessings, Gail

Beautiful cards Kirsteen. I'm not keen on that stamp set, but after seeing these...maybe I can be swayed Debbie
