Houston Paper Divas:

Christmas Ornament Swap

(and a wee sneeky peak)

Yesterday Houston Paper Divas got together for our Christmas pot luck

and swap - this time we swapped Christmas Ornaments...

they were all FABULOUS!

My offering was some paper rosette trees.

rosette_trees_kgill

I had initially started the first one by cutting and scoring and

punching the edges - then...

As a Stampin' Up! Demo, I got to see the Occasions Mini Catalog,

which launches in January....

And, guess what is in there?!

A Big Shot die to cut rosettes!

Now, fair enough, the die cuts rosettes 10" wide,

and I wanted my trees to be little.

But, that's what a paper trimmer is for!

So, each die when cut, made 4 rosettes!

I was done in no time...

(well, it took the day to make 10 - but I do have the added excuse

that my neck is still giving me grief,

and I was running out the door with wet glue on

the finished trees - but hey - I swapped!!)

There's LOADS more new stuff in the mini!

I am so excited, 'cause I just LOVE Big Shot Dies!!

Kx

These are lovely Kirsteen.  I love blues and silvers at Christmas.
I can't wait to see the new mini in January...and with Sale-a-bration too.

Kirsteen...these are gorgeous! I would love to know which papers you used to achieve such a 'wintery' look. I am loving making these trees in various colors.
