Card Candy

Houston Paper Divas Swap

It has been a crazy few weeks. Firstly  - no internet or TV.

And, Comcast could not send an engineer out for 10 days

- which I considered just ridiculous....especially when I discovered several

homes in our neighbourhood didn't have service either.

So, I went to Starbucks - free internet

- looked up details of the company, found the Comcast CEO's number, and called him....

Needless to say, the internet and tv were back on pretty soon after my call

- but then everything was reset!

Including my email!

So, I have spent TOO much time trying to sort it out.

And school started....

And Alistair was out of the country....

And the 2 toilets kept overflowing.....

And, and, and....

Anyway - I am back!

Our swap this month was Card Candy - you know,

a pack of what some folk call 'toppers' -  images displayed in a bag,

all of the same theme.

The idea is that you can just take one of the images from the bag and use it

on a card - or scrapbook.

Everyone got a different 'theme' - mine was masculine.

I decided to go with a Nautical theme

- using The Open Sea Stamp Set and Nautical Expedition Designer Paper

that was in the Stampin' Up! Summer Mini.

Unfortunately, this paper has now retired

- but you can still get it in digital format HERE

So, here is my swap all bagged up.......

And, easier to see out of the bag....

Your card candy was fabulous!  Absolutely yummy good...  I don't want to use them.  I think I will hang them on my wall in my scraproom! lol

I really like the nautical theme and variety of card candy elements you created. I think this is one of the best paper sets that Stampin' Up made. What a shame it is retired as a paper purchase!  Nicely done!
