Teacher Appreciation Gifts

Here in Katy last week, it was Teacher Appreciation Week.

So, what's a crafter to do?

I procrastinated, too long, as I usually do,

but eventually got around to making these backpacks

for Ewans Teachers.

Inside I put some chocolate and 10 notelets....I didn't know what the

teachers would prefer to use them for,

so I stamped a whole bunch of sentiments,

punched them out with the word window punch

and popped them in a baggie with dimensionals,

so the teachers can choose what they stick on as a sentiment.

These cards use the new set 'RECESS'

which is in the Summer Mini.

Click HERE to have a look at the set.

And then made a 'Thank You' card for each of them also.

Great work Kirsteen! So cute!
I would love to have been given one of those backpacks - and the little notecards would be great to have in your desk.
Well done. Thanks for sharing.

Kirsteen, these are SO cute and I love the idea of the little paper backpacks filled with adorable little notelets for them to use as needed...and the chocolate, of course!  All teachers need a little chocolate.  I am sure they loved their gifts...so much better than another "World's Best Teacher" coffee mug!

Is there any way you can share how to make those back packs or share the link where to find the instructions? I love them so much! Need to make them for my twins teachers. :0)

I second Madeline Morcelo's comment and had to say - these are awesome!  I'd love to be able to make some myself...

The backpacks are darling.  The idea for the notecards was so cute and clever, I know the teachers were happy with them.
Did you design the backpack yourself?  I'd love to give them a try.
Love your site.  You do great work.
