Birthday Flowers
I am in a 'Swap 'n' Crop' group here in Katy.
Two of the Ladies: Patty and Paula, had birthdays lately and yesterday we met up to crop and had lunch to celebrate.
I decided to bring a little bunch of flowers with me for each, so I made these little bags of Gerberas.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY PATTY AND PAULA!

It was a shame......Pattys son became ill and she spent most of the day at the hospital, missing lunch - so we will go celebrate next week. I hope he is feeling better today Patty!
I have only been part of the group a couple of months....but they have made me feel soooo welcome - I am so grateful for each of you gals! Y'all make me laugh! Thank you for welcoming me and my Scottish ways into your group! I am learning so many new crafty things. I already luv ya!
These flowers are VERY easy to make!
Just run 2 layers of card through the Big Shot with the Flower, Daisies #2 Die and stick them all to the top of one another, starting with the largest 2, layering smaller as you go.
With mine I did the 'flocking' (click here to see how) in the centre on a 1" punched circle.
I cut up long triangles of Pear Pizzaz and curled them with my bone folder - to look like leaves.
To make the stems, I took a 1"x 8 1/2" piece of Pear Pizzaz and wound it around a bar-b-que skewer, to make a long skinny tube.
I glued another 1" punched circle onto the underside of the flower and the glued the 'stem' to the flower.
The Bag is the Fancy Favor Die - a FABULOUS easy-peasy bag!
Here is what I used!
