valentines

Valentines For Ewans Class

"In my day..........."
or
"When I was your age.........."

Did you hear your Parents / Grandparents say these words?

AND, do you now hear yourself sounding like them?

Valentines in our local elementary school, heck allover, isn't the same as when I was Ewans age!
In my day, we gave a Valentine to ONE person.
And, you didn't get Mum to make it, you drew it yourself!

(Well, maybe as I got older there were bought cards!)

But, now, here, there is a designated time in class to swap candy or other Valentines treats.
The WHOLE class has to swap!

So, that's 23 Valentines......10 boys and 13 girls.

Yep, it's cute, but as usual, I am Last-Minute Minnie, and so sat yesterday making these.

Thank Goodness for My Digital Studio, my Big Shot and Katy Card Swappers Meeting, where I got away from the house to finish them
(and had a good laugh - Thanks for welcoming me into the group Ladies!)

Well, for having done them last minute, they still look cute. And, I bet the kids will like them too!

You have some wonderful projects on here.  I've made your Bliss bag and shared with a few fellow crafters and they love it.  I widened slightly to get 10x10cm envelopes in too and made 4 different cards.  Will post them soon. In the meantime, I've left you a little something on my Blog. Thanks again for your inspiration Sandra

Ike says those are "SO cute".  You make those of us that go with "store bought" look bad ;-)  They are adorable.  Ewan is lucky to have you for his Mum!
