Ewans Homework - An Easter Box

Ewan's homework this weekend was to cut out a box and decorate it with an Easter theme.  When they take it in they get a Creme Egg to put in it!

He loved seeing the boxes I did for my swap - with the rabbit on them and the Creme Egg that I made into a chick, so he decided he wanted to put those on his box.....but, everything had to have an orange theme as that is his favourite colour!  Thankfully, Kaleidoscope DSP had some orange that he didn't think was too 'girly' and so that became the mat on the box.  He then sat and punched out all the shapes he needed.  When I tried to instruct I was told he knew how to cut the shapes and place them.......he just looked at the back of the animals I had done!

Anyway - I'm sure he'll get a creme egg! He did great! Even posed well!

Rabbit does look a little 'evil', we will have to add some highlights to his eyes!

Ewan just loved seeing how to make the grass out of the Old Olive Ribbon, then he had the great idea of cutting up the oval to make it look like the chick had just hatched!
